Frequently Asked Questions
Will I have any out-of-pocket costs?
CDCP coverage is based on household income and the type of treatment being completed. While many preventive and restorative services are partially covered, there may be a remaining balance depending on your coverage level. Before beginning treatment, we will review your benefits and clearly explain any potential out-of-pocket portion so you can make informed decisions.
Can I use CDCP for all types of treatment?
The CDCP covers a wide range of preventive and restorative services, including exams, cleanings, fillings, and certain major procedures. Some treatments may require pre-authorization, and coverage amounts can vary. Our team will verify your eligibility and confirm what is included before proceeding with treatment.
Do you bill the CDCP directly?
Yes, Lumi Dental submits claims directly to the CDCP where applicable. If there is any portion not covered under your plan, we will review it with you in advance so there are no surprises.
When can I book my appointment?
You can schedule your visit once you have received confirmation of enrollment under the CDCP. If you have already been approved, contact our Beaumont office and we will help you book your appointment at a convenient time.
What should I bring to my first appointment under CDCP?
Please bring your CDCP confirmation details along with any relevant identification. If you have questions about your documentation before your visit, contact our office and we will clarify what you need.
